Their skilled artisans perform high-precision tailoring, crafting everything from gold-covered decorative curtains and expansive ceiling sails to velour hangings, tulle, and cycloramas.

Gerriets also produces curtains with the world’s longest sewing robot, ensuring unmatched precision. They also specialize in welding high-quality projection and effect screens, using high-frequency welding technology to achieve almost invisible, fine welds.

Johanna Daimer, the great-great-aunt of the current owner, Anni Pirchmoser, founded the felt business in 1883.

For over 140 years, the company has specialized in using felt in collaboration with architects, designers, artists, and craftsmen.

In the past 40 years, the development of “Daimermelanges” has been pivotal in transforming felt into a versatile fabric suited for art and design. Daimer’s wool felt continues to be produced in a range of contemporary colors and shapes.
